My family and I would like to express our heartfelt thanks on designing and constructing a pool and an outdoor kitchen/patio of our dreams in a painless, efficient manner. Throughout all the phases of the project from the day we signed the contract to the day we turned the pool on, we were very impressed by the honesty, integrity and the customer focus of your employees and the quality of work done by your subcontractors.

We went through proposals from five reputable companies for our project and what made us go with you is the warm and fuzzy feeling we got when we spoke to your son, Jeff Crites, who never tried to sell us a pool, but instead spent all the time in gathering our requirements and focusing on designing to meet them. Even though you were not the least expensive proposal, we were very impressed by the thought and experience that had gone into the design. So signing the contract with you was a mere formality.

Buzzy Barker who supervised our project was an epitome of customer advocacy. He was very responsive, sharp, open to suggestions and constantly vigilant for things that would need extra attention to prevent problems later on. He was there on site 3-4 times a week and kept in touch on a daily basis. If there was a question or a concern he would jump on it right away to get it answered or resolved. He even got the company rep to come and train us on the state of the art equipment that we had used in the pool.

Your subs, Matteo, Margerito, Mariano, Alfredo, and Mike Trump were courteous, efficient and outstanding, all working together creating a beautiful work of art.

In a nutshell Andy, we are very happy that we decided to build a pool and outdoor kitchen/patio with you, and we heartily recommend you and your company to anyone who is in the market for a quality pool and/or patio.

After interviewing and getting quotes from five other pool contractors, we settled on your company primarily because of your sales representative, Paul Schantz. We immediately felt comfortable with Paul because he didn't focus on selling "any" pool to us but rather he concentrated on selling "the right" pool for our needs and price. We told him our budget and he was realistic with the possibilities. The pool he designed met our every need and we didn't have to try to renegotiate the price or the amount we were willing to spend.

We immediately respected Paul because of his honesty. When he didn't know the answer to some of our questions about the pool equipment, he was honest enough to say he didn't know and would research it and get back to us. He followed through on his promise.

Finally, Paul took time to come out during the construction process to ensure the project was progressing as scheduled and as he designed.

While we had every confidence in Paul, we were happy to learn that our assigned superintendent, Buzzy Barker, was just as committed to providing excellent customer service and a quality product as Paul was. Buzzy was professional, efficient, and friendly. He kept us informed on the various phases of construction and took his own personal time on the weekends to make sure the construction was progressing correctly and within the expected time frames.

When our pool deck was completed, several rain storms washed debris onto it. After each storm, Buzzy made the extra effort to clean our deck because, as he put it, "we want our customers to be happy." His attention to customer service was exceptional and my wife and I were grateful.

Also, my wife and I were totally impressed with your customer service and the final product. We found that you and your employees are committed to building the best pools and providing exceptional customer service. We couldn't be happier with choosing your company and wholeheartedly recommend the company to anyone interested in installing "the right" pool.

I wanted to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to the Crites family for the recent work completed at our home. In October 2001, we signed a contract with a new pool builder in Austin to build a pool and spa at our home in Wimberley. We were foolish enough to believe his claims that we should hire a smaller company because "a big company like Andy Crites won't care about doing your pool right." What we ended up experiencing was delay after delay and enough lies to last a lifetime. After six months of this we finally had had enough and terminated our contract with him. All that was lacking was the plaster and someone to help figure out if and how the systems he had installed worked.

Enter our hero, Aaron. In calling around to find someone to help us, I talked with Aaron on the phone the next Monday. Aaron was at the house by that afternoon and promised we'd have water in the pool in two days. True to his word, the plaster was installed on Wednesday and we were finally watching our pool fill up with water.

Not only did Aaron deliver what he promised, he also took care of several problems in the plumbing system and made modifications to the equipment that allowed the waterfalls to run properly. It should be noted that even though we were very vulnerable at the time, Aaron gave us a fair price and delivered above and beyond our expectations. As a general manager, Aaron surely had many things to do during the time it took to finish our system, but he made sure everything worked in our pool.

While we certainly learned our lesson the hard way, we hope that others in the area will know that you can't go wrong with the Crites family. Thank you so much for your excellent service and help in finishing our pool. And our special thanks goes to Andy Crites. It's nice to know there are still people and companies that care about customer service.
